Make free international calls with google talk
There is a new service which presents Gtalk2Voip for Google Talk users. To do this we must have a Google Talk client that supports the Jingle protocol, either their own official client, Fring, Jabbin or otherwise.
And the news is none other than unlimited calls worldwide completely free, but that if, with advertising support. And all thanks to the integration of Gtalk2Voip with Talkster, a company that allows us to make international calls at local call cost, provided by each number in each new contact a local number associated with that contact. Talkster currently support for 34 countries, including Spain.
To use this service, here is what we have to do:
- We opened our desktop client for Google Talk.
- Let the option to add contacts as they always have done.
- Add the contact number, with country and area code in front, so: yourid@talkster.gtalk2voip.com
(We have to see if your country is supported)
- We will receive confirmation from Talkster with instructions. In our contact will be assigned a local phone number of your country, you will receive our call.
- If your mobile phone call, he will receive an sms with their Talkster number for our calls. Otherwise, you will be notified by e-mail or IM.
How to use?
- Clicking on the number of our friend.
- Click on the button of the completion of the call.
- Talkster will dial the number of our friends through Google Talk.
- If you respond, we have 10 seconds to see if available, in which case we will tell you so hang up and call back using the Talkster phone number that is assigned for our calls.
- When our friend to receive the call, we will contact our friend.
- When we have completed is when taken for completion of the call.
- We will notify our friend to keep the number that is assigned to call you when we get back from Google Talk.
Currently I have Google Talk client with Jingle support for Mac, and as for Jabbin, is a project that is stationary and have also lost control. PSI, for its part, is very slow in its development, yet little is known of his support for Jingle.
